HORIZONS

The Horizons series is an exploration of the eternal line where the earth meets the sky, is a symbolic meeting point between the tangible and the ethereal.

Visually, these horizons are manifested through the deliberate layering of  linen and nettle weavings over expansive acrylic color fields. The rhythmic, structural nature of the weaving creates a physical, grounded presence, while the bold use of color—deep blues, earthy terracottas, and vibrant yellows—evokes the atmosphere of a vast, open space. By integrating the loom’s texture directly onto the canvas, I aim to capture the tension of the horizon line: a constant, grounding force that simultaneously invites the eye to wander into the infinite.
